i keep gettiing this message

The error returned was:
Sorry, the board administrator has enabled search flood control. Please wait at least 10 seconds before trying again.


but its 2 in the morning US time according to the site watch...sometimes it take 10 mins to get to the boards

nah redz it happens when u either search or hit view new posts.
i get it all the time too.
it has nothing to do with how fast your posting.

It's the same thing with those.

You can crash a site by doing it very quickly, so it's disabled.

Yeah the search thing is quite intensive on the server. When you click the find new posts button all your doing is running a predefined search. If you were able to repeatedly click the find new posts button you could crash the site. That is why the flood control is enabled.

make the new post page your home page. that way you can just click the home page icon instead of waiting thirty seconds to click the new posts link. It does the same thing, brings up the refreshed new post page without the wait. wink1.gif
