Just giving you all a heads up. I have a new task function built into the site, where the SQL databases are going to be optimized, repaired, and cleaned up every night at Midnight. There will also be automated back ups at the same time, once the optimization is finished. While this is happening, I'll have the board offline (only Floyd and myself will have access to the site), and when anyone comes to the site during the process....they'll get a message explaining whats going on on the forum's home page. It should only take between 15-20 minutes to do everything. So if any of you come to the site around Midnight each night and want to know whats going on and why everything is offline....thats why.

The daily backups is good to have in case anything crashes or the site gets hacked, and by optimizing the databases every day...the site will continue to run at top speed. smile.gif

I suggest it be at midnight in one of the western time zones, for minimal impact.

Midnight eastern is a time where alot of the rest of the nation is online, in their evening hours. Midnight Pacific or Alaskan, most of the country is not online.
