Interested in the koyo, possibly. Can you provide a part number or tell me if rd and gk radiators are the same? I didn't see a pick of it in your photobucket and I have yet to really look tbh.

Possibly interested in engine as well, I just picked a salvage one up last week for a build...some questions about the engine.

What is the compression ratio with the cp pistons?

Are the rods 1.8L or 2.0L length?

Is the head cvvt or non-cvvt? Hard to tell in pics if the cvvt solnoid is just not installed or hole not bored for it and didn't notice an oil temp sensor hole.

Can you tell me who balanced the crank?

Any build pics during assembly so I could see some inner detail?

I'm not too far from you so I could pick-up possibly.

Thanks,

Engine is non CVVT. Almost positive compression ratio is 8.8:1. 2.0 length rods. All machine work was done by Automotive Engine Rebuilders who are local to me. I will dig around for some build pics, I know I have some somewhere. Not sure how detailed they are but I will look around.

As for Koyo rad the part number is V2388 and if I remember correctly, it is actually made for the gk and fits the rd with very little changes (I think a hose needs to be shortened or something) I will get it our tomorrow and snap a picture or two, its brand new in the box still.

Perfect, looks like the site lost some of the older threads or there would still be a thread on here with pics. I am in the process of trying to go through all my files to find some. If nothing else I could always pull the oil pan or even head if neccesary.

slow2k2gt, I will measure that for you shortly

Total length of intercooler is 35". Also confirmed that inlet and outlet are 3"

Thanks for measuring but that is way too long for my setup, hopefully it will work for someone though.

Thanks for the radiator pics, let me know on the build pics. I'm not in a huge hurry, but wil begin looking to see what days I may be able to head down to the Mil. area.

Reko, not having any luck on digging up pictures. I had a build thread on here and looks like it must have got lost in a transition at one point. Ill look some more and keep you posted.

Ok, no worries. I'm having trouble finding a good day/evening to be able to run down to you for the radiator yet. Hows late march look for you? I should be able to find a day 3rd week in march.
