Up for sale is my sexy Laser Red 1997 Probe SE. I purchased this from the orginal owner around Febuary '06 to drive during the winter. Now I have newer/better vehicles and this one is just sitting. I have the original window sticker. It is a great car and runs perfect. It is the fuel efficient 2.0L 4 cyl. with the fun to drive 5-speed and nets around 33 mpg! It has a few upgrades including a nice Pioneer CD player, SSAutoChrome 4-2-1 header, nice real cold air intake and cone filter, weight reduction, hollowed catalytic converter, and exhaust with no muffler (car isn't loud) and an aluminum oil filler cap. It also has American Racing 5-star wheels that resemble the 1993-94 Probe GT's wrapped in NEW 205/55R-16-inch premium 70,000 mile tires. These have about 1,600 miles on them. The wheels were used and are very dirty. I also have a Exedy Stage I clutch kit that is still new in the box that will be included. *I can install*
I also just did a full tune-up including: Bosch Platinum +2 spark plugs, premium 7mm ignition wires, premium distributor cap, premium distributor rotor, premium PCV, premium furl filter, premium Stant thermostat, flushed/changed coolant, changed transmission fluid (synthetic 75w90), drained/changed brake (synthetic DOT 3), changed oil (synthetic 5w30)...
I also upgraded the rear swaybar endlinks to the 1995 Nissan Altima endlinks. I changed the center console for a mint condition one that works awesome. I changed the hatch as the original was rusted out and letting exhaust fumes into the cabin. The hatch is Rio Red in color but it is hardly noticeable. I also have a Rio Red GT rear bumper cover if the buyer wants it for $25.00.
An interstate battery has also been added.
Everything still functions well (headlights work flawlessly, all lights work, cruise control, A/C, rear defrogger, brakes are good, suspension is nice and smooth...)
The mileage is around 170,000 miles. This car is still nice and tight. There are no rattles/creeks.
The car does have a very small amount of rust where the rocker panel meets the door jam/quarter panel. The rest of the car is extremely solid.
The car has no issues and had no check engine light before I installed the header. It has a o2 sensor code because it does not have the rear sensor installed. I do have the bung and 02 sensor which will go with the car. *I can install*
The interior is grey and it has nice one-piece door panels.

Jump in and drive this car anywhere in the USA at anytime! SUPER RELIABLE!
$1,100.00

maybe if that was the v6, i'd think about it for a daily driver.

Sorry, this is the last Probe I own. It was my 'winter' car.

I just sold all of my GT's. They are damn good cars.
