F/S: Auto to Manual Swap "Kit" for RD/Hyundai

UPDATE! Included Performance Clutch has sold, Sale Price REDUCED!

I've put this "kit" together with used/new parts from my spare parts cars, a 1997 and 1998 (MT)Hyundai Tiburon. Included is everything mechanical you will need to complete an auto to manual transmission swap in a Beta Hyundai/RD, except for the transmission and clutch. I have already sold the transmission and VHR performance clutch that was in my parts car otherwise I would include it for sale here.

Asking price for everything listed below is $475.00 shipped $225.00 shipped within USA. This "kit" includes a VHR Performance Clutch Kit listed for sale here individually for $250.00 shipped, regularly retails at kpec.com for $699.

If you are sick of your automatic transmission and want to go manual this is an affordable way to go about it WITH a performance clutch good for up to 350whp!

INtrested, do I have to get a manual ECU ??

'treezy 02-14-2012 08:07 AM

No you can keep the ECU that is in your car. If interested send me your shipping address and I can start putting together the boxes to ship, there will be multiple boxes/shipments so that everything is packaged securely. I will respond with my PayPal info and we can go from there.

how much does that flywheel weigh

I've done the swap if anyone has any questions or concerns. It took me a weekend with a friend helping... no problems AT ALL, except that we forgot we unplugged the starter from the battery so it wouldn't turn over :duh5:

I swapped A/T starter for M/T starter. Kept the ECU, just rewired one pin I believe to tap it into a constant power source. (Pin 85?)
