sephia vs. corolla

i've never posted a racing story b4 so i hope this goes well. *ahem*

last weekend i was on the eastern shore cruising all by myself on the lonely highway and a newer corolla (the kind with the red "S" on it)passed me. he got in my lane and slowed down and i got over to pass him, but as i did he speed off again. He got in my lane again and slowed down. i attempted to pass him but he took off again. i figured that he either wanted to race or at least get on my nerves. So the next time he slowed down i flashed him and got over next to him. we slowed down to about 30 or so until he punched it. I turned O/D off(yea i gots an a-u-t-o) and gave chase. he was ahead to about 50 but i was pulling and passed by the time I got to 70. i had him by about 3/4 cars @ 100 (with OD back on) before i put on the hazards. he, i guess pissed, stayed on it and passed me only to get pulled over by smokey a lil down the road.

oh yea--my car is stock while he had at least an exhaust.

Very cool, especially for an automatic. Quite a rush, isn't it?

what's with hazard light???
Is it some kind of sign that saying the race is end or something?? I'm asking you because there are lots of stories like yours...

That would be an exceelent matchup. Corolla and Sephia have almost identical HP, but corolla has the torque edge, but then again, i believe the sephia weighs a little less.

Yeah, that should be a good match.

Toyota engines tend to have good torque as compared to HP numbers, it makes them fairly punchy off the get go. It's therefore not surprising that you lost some ground at the start.

A good catch-up and pass though! smile.gif

Good kill man, oh and good luck you have too, not getting stoppedby the Smokey.

In Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for the PS2, puttin on your hazards is a sign that you want to race. Nice kill.

Corolla got plenty weight plus big heavy 16's on the S model. Amazing he was ahead at the beginning! The VVTI must be good for something...
