New Rally Movie Based on Japanese Comic

FINALLY! Maybe this will push the sport. Has anyone noticed there is absolutely NO rally coverage on any television? Speedvision got rid of it, only ghey Nascar and gheyer Pinks. Eurosport has a 1 hour special on Sundays but that's it.

Good for Speedvision. The new FIA rules suck. The cars suck too. Nothing to watch.

We need group B back and they should bring Group S off the drawing boards. That would be some good racing.

too many deaths in Group B! it was too dangerous. but they do need to stop cancelling stages because of snow or rain!!! and bring back night racing!! it used to be no matter what the weather conditions, the race is still on. the definition of rally used to be the cars vs. nature, but now everything is sold out to "keep costs down". But the legendary drivers are gone and i hope we see some in this movie. for sure it won't be a "tokyo drift", or "redline" crap, so all car fans must see it!

Tommi Makinen, Carlos Sainz, Didier Auriol, Marcus Gronholm (retiring), Colin McRae (rip), Richard Burns (rip), all no more. I really hope some of those drivers make a camo.

That is sucj great news!! Rally racing is my favorite form of racing. Always action packied especially for spectatators like me. I hope the sport explodes after the movie. It would be fun if the circut in the U.S. grew more and actually paid out.

I think every motor sport needs to go back to its roots. None of this nascar/indy car circuit crap where you start out at a roll... wtf is that? No more speed restriction rules, motor size rules... if ppl want to build something retardly fast that cant hold up, so be it, the race will go to the smarter builder, etc. Just cause people die doesnt mean you have to stop the race, they know what they are getting into. I have seen rally on speed before, not sure what you guys are talking about but ive seen some nasty rally on speed channel (36 for comcast cable in philly) Prolly like 4 in the morning i cant remember exactly what time and what day i saw it on. right now they got some nice driftin goin on laugh.gif

might be good, it will probly end up like the initial D movie and never make it here, and ill have to go to china town to pick up a copy in cantonese with english translations guarentedlol.

and a sad thing is group B will never return. far to dangerous and that one crash proved it. all because the idiots would stand in the road and move out of the way last second.

^exactly!! they said it's supposed to be a "blockbuster" so we'll see. i actually only saw the intro to initial-d, looked so much better than any Fast and Furious bs.

they should just bring back weather conditions and return to the real sport it used to be. not some stupid gravel... i'm kind of happy speedvision isn't broadcasting it anymore, the FIA nerds deserve it for what they've done.

nothing anybody can do about it. tis my signature smile.gif
