I was driving down one of my cities main roads where the speed limit is 50 MPH, but there's also a couple stop lights. I came up to one such stoplight and it was red, so of course I stopped, and as I'm sitting there, I see the other direction's light turn yellow, therefore mine is about to turn green. I look in my rearview mirror, and I see headlights approaching a little bit back, since the speed limit is 50, he's gaining pretty fast... well, by the time the light turned green, he was still about a block to two blocks behind me, and I was at a dead stop, he was going no slower than 40-45... I like to gun it off the line, and race a person coming up at full speed like that just to see how quickly I can overcome them. Well, I shoot off the line and I'm going as fast as I know how to drive, and it's raining out. The guy gets maybe 1/2 to 1 car length ahead of me, then I overcome him with ease... I then slowdown a bit to stay within the speed limit since I wasn't really racing, and here's the funny part, when the guy passed me back about 45 seconds later, I look over and he is leaning over his passenger seat staring at me wide-eyed.. I started cracking up, as did my girlfriend, as if the driver had never seen a little four banger go that fast.. Bone stock at that.. I just thought it was kind of funny. Wee, also super tired and pissed bout my headlights so I'm kinda rambling.. goodnight all. rolleyes.gif tongue.gif

 

Nice, I like those Grand Am's though, I wouldn't mind having one, very nice ride and cool interior. At least you didn't say he had some kanji stickers on there, in that case I would point and laugh at him.

 

Ah yes, I love Grand Ams as well, I think they are very nice looking cars, inside and out, plus they got some pretty good sized cohones... The guy really didn't try to race me or anything, the expression on his face was just priceless.
