When NASCAR driver Josh Wise was looking to raise $50,000 from a sponsor to race at Talladega, he found financial help in an unexpected place — Reddit. Users from the subreddits r/dogecoin and r/NASCAR rallied and used Dogecoin, a digital currency, to raise the money, and users were invited to submit designs for the car.
