Most embarising loss
I don't have any embarassing losses, but I can tell you about my boyfriends embarassing loss! Hehehehe, I still bug him about this one.
We pulled up to this, like 89 Escort GT or some crap, and we didn't even think this kid would even think about racing us, but we'd still just pull off quick, even if he wasn't going to race or not. Then, the light turns green, and he squeals his tires and we take off and the kid just went zooming past and kept going and going. You should have seen the look on my boyfriends face. LOL, it was the greatest. I just said, "you just lost to an Escort." and he didn't say anything. Then like 10 mins later, after complete silence, he goes, "he must have had a superchager or something'." I just agreed and giggled to myself. hehe

You might be right about him not trying, but... you have to take into consideration the curb weight of the vehicle is 3440lbs (not including his huge ass rims and tires) and that it was an automatic. Since it was a 99 Taurus SHO it's 0-60 is 7.5 secs. Still, true, he might not have been trying, but it was fun

I raced a 98 Escort ZX3 the other night and lost by a car length....being a former Camaro owner, I was very embarrassed because I lost to A FORD!!!!! He later lost to a 5 speed 3.8 Camaro, so the fact that I kept up means somethin i guess......
Well i got my tib in august and i took it easy for the first 1200 miles or so making sure not to rev over 4000rpm like the manual said. Anyway i didn't think it was going to be as fast as it turned out to be. I have raced most of the people in the town where i live(200sx se-r,civic ex,older supra, accord v6) After all of those i was kinda feeling big headed when i got my ass handed to me twice in a row. First it was a 1998 Nissan Maxima with a 5-speed which was not even close to a fair match and the second which i still can't believe is a 98 Ford Escourt zx2 with a 5 speed. I was pretty astonished at the ford. It did very well. I think it must be the gearing but i still lost and it sucked.
ps. i am all stock 5 speed
