Modified brake pedal for better heel and toe?
All you auto x'ers...
Anybody out there ever modify their brake pedal or throttle pedal to get them better lined up for being able to heel n toe while braking/downshifting/turning, etc?

I have never used heel-toe during autox, but did during my lapping day a lot. I have a pedal plate that extends the bottom of the brake pedal a bit to make it easier. It does help make it easier, but it can be done stock also pretty easily on an Accent if you have fairly large feet.

I've got pretty huge clogs with which I can mash the pedals, its not a problem for me. LC pedals are pretty widely spaced though.
I had the idea of fitting an auto brake pedal that is cut into two halves, so then I can do skid steering, aircraft style.

It would work. Need 2 master cylinders. And stopping in a straight line would suck. Had that on some of the tractors/heavy equipment I use to operate.
I was thinking of using one of the Jeep/Buick electro-booster brake systems, and modifying it to not function as abs, but as a selective steering brake, tied to the buttons on the wheel.
Shouldn't be that hard to get your desired effect with 2 "line lock" solenoids.
The big issue is that Hyundai, and most other makers of FWD cars, tie right rear to left front, and right front to left rear, so the brakes aren't strictly rear/front...
Makes for some damn SQUIRRELY braking when one of the pairs has air in it...
