I'm not really sad though, because I was racing an BWM M3. We never go to go off the line, we just turned and went. I kept up until about 70-80 MPH where he kept climbing in speed faster than me. Then he got on the highway and I went home with my tail inbetween my legs.

umm..yeah. M3's are a might bit quick. Next to the Skyline that's my favorite car. Much more feasible to obtain as well. I had the opportunity to drive one 3 months ago and that is a true driver's car in every sense.

Needless to say I wouldn't be ashamed of being beat by one..almost well-deserved wink.gif

I was amazed to actully SEE one let alone the guy letting me race with him. I still don't like BMW, more of a Mercedes man myself. smile.gif

I spanked an E230 kompressor, 3 times! He couldn't take being beat by a hyundai.

333 hp, 155mph top speed 6cyl 6 sp gearbbox...ya they are pretty sweet....

you dont see many new m3's though. my friend has a 97 m3 (240hp), and its pretty quick...not blazing fast, but quick. the main advantage is that it handles like a go kart. unfortunately i hear the new m3's, while they're faster, tend to have a little less feel in the driving and even understeer a bit.

Hey i have beaten a M3 with 320hp about!!!
I passed him through the first 3 gears and then he quit!!! 265hp out of a tib and only
1162kgs weight!!!!It was a nice experience but after 15min my temperature was very very hot.I almost burn my tibby,but no problem.
Finally i blew my motor after one week at a race with an assh..e that had a Sierra cossworth with 400+++hp!!!!!

Dont worry about being beaten,go get yourself a turbo kit and your tibby will sure eat all these m3´s.C U TURBOMAN wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif

Don't worry I'm not sad or angry about losing to the M3, if I spend as much on mods as he did more for his car than me, I'd blow his BMW away smile.gif
