A friend of mine bought a 2001 Eclipse GT and wants to have a friendly race. Has anyone here ever raced one before? He has a V6 and my tib is the V6 model too. We both have the usual stuff like exhaust and intake but I was wondering who you guys thought would win. We both have manual transmissions too. I looked up some quick stats and it looks like stock they have around 205 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm, and 200 hp @ 5500 rpm. Seems like a bit more than my tib, so do you guys think he will win for sure or would it come down to driver? Hes a pretty good driver and goes to the track alot with his other car.

my thoughts....from a roll you should take it by a car and half. from a dig hell have the lead up to about 60 over all you have one more gear lighter car and lets face it the tib puts power to the wheel alot better than an eclipse.

 

It should be fairly close.
