With slicks what RPM should you leave? Few people suggest I should leave at redline.... How safe is this to do?? trying to improve my time here and down the track with same stuff before new mods to see where I stand. Want to have a consistent driving to eliminate (Drivers Error) to see the effectiveness of mods.

 

My guess: leave at the highest engine speed that lets the tires still hook up. If you are doing a burnout, slow down the engine a couple hundred and launch again.
