First Time At The 1/8 Mile
I went to the track for the first time last night. My best time was a 10.66. Not bad for a first timer I guess? Anyway I beat a huge intimidating turbo dieasel truck. I thought I would lose because those things have so much torque. But nay! I won! XD

8lb flywheel, 2.5'' cat back exhaust, stage 2 clutch, intake, and thats about it for right now. Well I have new plugs and wires but that doesn't really count. I know something has been done to the engine before I got it but I'm not sure.

You should also post up your 60 foot time, 300 ft and trap speed. Since it was your first time at the track your 60 foot time will tell a lot about how well you are launching the car. Most close to stock tibs run around a 2.2 or 2.3 second 60 foot time. fing02.gif

On a track that short, traction and the launch are everything. Get some drag radials. I went from a 2.3 to a 1.9 60' with my Z just installing a set of DR's.
