We went to the ¼ mile drag strip with a couple of friends Sunday, April the 30th.

This was the first time I raced my black Tiburon, i.e. the one I built after my accident.

And my second time at the track, mind you. wink1.gif

The best I could do was 15.837s @ 89.282MPH. Had only time for a couple of runs before my starter motor passed away. I'll be going again soon to improve my launches and hopefully do a better time.

who owns the other black tib and the silver one? don't recognize them.

Can't see the pictures because I'm at school, but I'm guessin your 60 foots are a little off. Your MPH times are good enough for like 15.3 or so.

 

The other black one is Pascoile, the silver one is SilverTib - I don't think he's here though.

My 60' averaged 2.4-2.5s. I have to work on my launches, as Pascoile taught me. I kept spinning the wheels in 1st.

My 15.8 run didn't show the 60' however, but I guess it was better than 2.4s.

 

work on the launch for sure. you should be able to get your times down more with those mods. what kind of tires are you running with?
