Circle Track Racing
I’m thinking about buying a used Accent and using for dirt road circle track racing. Seems like it would be a lot of fun and less expensive than building a car for paved racing.

It should be cheap, and it might be cheaper initially. It's hard to compare a dirt oval with all paved racing. Autocross is extremely inexpensive to do, although you're unlikely to win anything with a stock Accent as they actually don't have a class low enough to be fair to an Accent. The dirt track racers I know do a LOT more repairing.

There is an oval dirt track not far from me where they routinely race karts and cars. It's definitely cheap and not intended for anything you want to keep pretty. Looks like a blast, but the crowds it attracts here locally is enough to turn me off.
