Default Buying used slicks

I know buying used tires can be a stupid mistake and not worth it, but what does HA think about the idea of buying used slicks that have only been used 2 times at the track? They're not used on the street and are only used at the track, so if you can buy a good set of used slicks and are really cheap....is it a good idea, or still bad?

If you could know for certain that the advertised provenance is accurate, then maybe. Otherwise,

It's your car and your ass if one of them blows. Decide if they are both worth the savings....

I would only do that if I was great friends with the person, knew when he or she bought them, and knew for sure they only went down the track twice. If this is ebay or something else.. ooohh hell no.
