Default best way to control a GC in an out of a turn...

OK...

so what technique is ideal for going around a curve in a GC....i know there is the neutral trick where you pop it in neutral and out and it selects the appropriate gear but i have found it to be a bit lacking...

sometimes the gear out of the shift is 3rd/4th when it could easily be a gear lower and you can get more power on the straightaway...

The genesis has a tiptronic mode right? Use that.

No.

Don't ever do that again. Ever. That's monumentally stupid not to mention dangerous. And I guarantee it is not a faster way to corner.

Learn your car and how to tell when it will kick down when in automatic mode. If you can't or won't do that, use the manual mode.
