Why Accidents Suck
Underage Driver + "Borrowed" Underage Driver's Parent's Car + My Sister's $40,000 Truck + Me + No Seatbelt = $3,800 Damage (including $389 windshield courtesy of my head) and $800 Emergency Room Bill.
Moral of the story? Don't steal you parents car and make a left hand turn in front of a very lage truck, concussions suck, and wear your seat belt.
Unfortunately I have still yet to learn that last lesson.

I got out of a huge claim against my insurance when I rear ended a lady. The only reason she didn't get anything is because she wasn't wearing her seatbelt....
Not only will they save your life, they'll also save you $$$$

It's a law over here now, in WI (Click it or Ticket...b****. lol)
I've made it a habit, I never get in a car without my seatbelt, doesn't matter who's driving, how far, or whatever. I do it without thinking. I would suggest everyone else does the same...

I wasn't hurt too bad, just a concussion and 3 deep bruises (one for each knee and my right arm).
As for the seatbelt thing, I'm glad my sister had full coverage with some good medical provisions, because since I wasn't wearing my seatbelt the kid's insurance wouldn't pay for my medical bills. I should wear my seat belt, but bad habbits are hard to break (unlike windshields when they meet my skull). I wish I could find the pictures.
And I apologize for the equation, it made more sense in my head. smile.gif
