Yeah that is true but look at chevy and ford now they are coming back strong. I mean look at the crap cars the built and how unreliable they were. Honestly I owened a 96 full size chevy and it had so many problems. The CEL came on every month or so, it had three trannies put in and it only had 60,000 miles on it. And I never pulled a trailor or anything. So to me I will never buy an american car again just like my parents they won't buy anything american either. For the exact same reasons and the fact that we lived in Japan for 5 years. Nothing but japanese cars there so that is all they want now.

Ya know what? I'd like to put all these obviously stock Probes to the test with my 4Door 2001 Elantra. Lets see how they hold up. As for my numbers right now :
not sure on 0-60 probably somewhere close to 0-60 in 9 sec
1/4 mi: 16.8sec @ 81mph
Now all I have done to the engine is a weopon-r dragon cold ram air intake, Iridium plugs, and redline 10w-30 full synthetic oil.
Lets see what they think about that.
oh and I'd gladly like them to try keeping up with me starting out at 60mph on the highway. hmmm lets see I am constantly beating 14 sec cars while on the highway. They have no midrange power. They would know why I beat them if they had a half a mind.

Yeah, what does "smurfed" mean though? Eh, what are you gonna do when you get bored? Make fun of some probes. I use to make fun of my cavalier. It was a 2001 z42 with turbo, coils, intake, exhaust and new spark plugs. That thing could freggin run I'll tell you what. It looked stock, no outside appearances. I'd rip people off the line, easy. He is right about the midrange. I had a good 14 second 4 cyl going there, and I'b on the highway and be like "I'll getcha" and I'd lose... maybe, haha. The only time I got pissed, is when I lost to a Neon RT. Those things are rather quick. Now I traded that in for my tibby, which is complete stock. I'm sure my tibby would take my cavalier in the long run. smile.gif It also was an automatic, and my tiburon is manual. It is the driver. I'd say its more the driver then the car if its manual. Then again, automoatics dont give you as much power as a manual, as in "response" and what not, but automatics, its more the car then the person. smile.gif Who cares who can beat who... just drive. smile.gif responsibly. I sound like an after school special.

My friend has a 94' Probe GT. handed him his ass. it was over by second gear. wasnt even funny. funny how they talk sh*t about stock accents. it like us talkin sh*t about a festiva. slap some mods on that accent and then talk some sh*t. dont knock till ya raced it.
