Whats everyones thoughts on it?



Mine

1. Game was m'eh. Not too exciting, and both teams definitely didnt play like they were AFC/NFC Champs

2. Halftime Show was beyond horrible. BEP sounded like complete crap, and this was by far the worst halftime show in history

3. Christina A messing up the National Anthem was hysterical but really sad too.

4. Commercials were mediocre at best. I was expecting them to be much better.

 

Kia add was top notch, but Hyundai bombed this year, and the first Doritos commercial with the little pug was awesome. BEP were craptastic, and the game was a snoozer.

 

BEP sounded like ass, but I'll give them credit for

1.) Actually singing and not gheying out like punks with a lip sync

2.) Trying to put on an entertaining show

But yeah, even Usher had issue with his mic(s?). It's like they didn't double mic or just had some hack running the audio.

Other than that I will say they did play a variety of music and had tasteful displays/outfits (even if they did look like mecha Kiss)







And yeah, Christina Aguilera seemed to stumble more than once. I kind of gave her credit because she did seem sincerely moved, but I don't like her to start with so yeah, f___ the cow.







After the coin toss I wanted someone to walk up and punch Deion Sanders in the d!ck.

He's the most vile filth on the planet imho and really wasn't deserving of that honor.







The game:

It didn't seem like the Steelers even showed up until the 2nd half. That being said if the Packers spent less time tripping on each other they could have done twice the damage. All bias aside, it seriously seems like they were told told take it easy on Roethlisberger. If the b*tch is that fragile pull his ass after a few plays. Half the game I spent yelling at defense for being wussies, and, aside from Collins 37 yard return , dancing on each others feet. Granted, after the 2nd half it got grizzly. And toward the end when we were only 6 ahead I was biting my nails. I have no real complaints being that I got my big scare and there were a few good plays on both sides. I wanted more, but never go into a game with expectations because they almost always get shattered. I still say good game, but good company helps too







The commercials:

I lmao at the A8 commercial

I loled at the Doritos commercial when dude was sucking the cheese off random stuff

and I think I got 1 random other chuckle



But was is just me, or was the Vader VW commercial cut to hell?

 

Horrible. The Steelers lost, Christina Aguilera f'd up the National Anthem twice, im speechless about the Black Eyed Peas, and the commercials were horrible. The only decent commercials were the Doritos one with the pug, and the Best Buy one were they said Justin Bieber looked like a girl.

1. Surprised the Packers won. I really didn't care, but for the sake of entertainment wanted GB to win. I'm NOT a Steeler's fanm and there are several in our office.



2. I liked the doritors commercials, and the VW. Kia was good because it got your attention and made you want to actually consider buying a Kia. I must've missed the A8



3. PreGame / Halftime - enough's been said already.



I actually spent most of the game socializing. I'm usually watching every play and every commercial, not wanting to miss a moment, but 5 minutes into the game I was already less than interested. I'm glad the Doritos pug was early so I could catch the best commercial.



It seems that companies spent too much money for the spot, and didn't have any money left over to pay their ad/marketing department for creativity.



The one good thing to come from the Superbowl? I think we're going to either Bonaire or Belize this summer with some friends. Scuba Diving and Deep Sea Fishing.
