I finally got to save up some money, but I'm so undecided on what to buy. I have three choices in mind, two of them are exterior mods and one of them is performance. 1) Clear Corners, 2) PRD wires or 3) HID Kit (6K). I need opinions. What would you buy? sad.gif Thanks.

I would say HIDs i love mine

 

I would rate them in this order:

1) HID kit
2) clear corners
3) PRD wires

 

HID kit should be the same price as the clear corners and the PRD wires depending on where you get them.

 

id say PRD wires if your still on the stock ones.

 

on an RD1, I would say
1) clear corners
2) HIDs
3) PRD wires

you have an RD2 though. What color is your car?

 

Well the clear corners and wires accomplish about the same...nothing

so go HID all the way!

It seems that the HID kit is in almost everybody's preference.

One reason to go with HID is because my lights are crappy, I can barely see.
I would go with PRD wires cuz I'm running on crappy 7mm stock wires
I love how clear corners look (this wouldn't improve anything except looks)

So now, I don't know how much improvement I would get from 8mm wires. Can you really feel any improvement? If is just barely minimal I would go with HIDs then.

my gas mileage went up about 3 mpg, but no real performance gain. idle was also a bit smoother.

i also have clear corners, they look better, but not really needed. and the HID's, a local has them, very nice. i plan on a set soon when i have the cash.
