Well guys, I am sorry to imform you that I had totaled it today. This old asian guy tried to make a left hand turn while I entered the intersection adn I had absolutly no way of stopping and or avioding him. I hit him doing 35mph and he was drving an 81 Mercedes Benz 300CD. Yeha it was like hitting a stone wall. He was able to drive away with little damage to his car, except for some rear 1/4 panel damage and that was it. My car I will email pics of the damage and post them. It is very totaled. The frame is beyond repair and 2 of the engine mounts are broken, the radiator is now part of the engine bolck. The other guys was found at fault and got 2 tickets one for fialing to yeild adn another for wreckles ops. He got 2 tickets because I had 8 witnesses come foward and give statements that I tried to stop and he proceeded with out due reguard to safety. I am just happy that everything is being paid for. Ill post pics tomorrow.
But not to mention this is all after I install my BBTB and I completely worked the timing and tuning to get everything workin 100%

ummmm not to make you accident not seem like anything but can i get your bbtb please and your intake manifold if it is not damaged???
also if you can there is a guy on here that needs the needles for speedo and tach very badly because factory wants $400 for the cluster.....

Also interested in the BBTB and IM (if it's an Onpol special)....so i take it no damage to you..unless you have a wireless laptop.. )

 

Sorry guys I already have buyers for the BBTB. My IM was never bored out yet. I did not get the chance. I only have had the BBTB for less than a week. My custom intake is fine, but the filter was crushed by the radiator. But like I said I will make another post this Mon or Tues with the parts I am selling.
I am still not quite sure what is happening with the Tib and if they are fixing it or totalling it. I will keep you guys posted

Damn, that sux indeed... The timing is al wrong, the new model tib isn't release until march next year.

BTW: did the airbags go off? If the collision was hard enough to break a motor mount than the airbags should be popping also, I presume.

I think it must just be Columbus around this time of year. I was in an accident with my tibby two weeks ago. Guy pulled out right in front of me. Mine isn't totaled though! But it still sucks being without it for a couple of weeks. But this was my second 2K tib anyway. First one got destroyed 'bout a year ago. I feel for ya 69'er!
