Default Suggestions on how to get a heavy tv up 2 flights of stairs

I have a 47" Sony Triniton tv in my basement and I want to try and get it upstairs into my bedroom. So it has to go up 2 flights of stairs. The former owners of my house just left it here because it was too heavy for them to get out (they were an older couple in their 60s). It works great and has a really good picture. The problem is that this thing is gigantic and it weight damn near 200 pounds. I call it Megatron. So carrying it is out of the question. I was thinking about maybe getting myself a dolly or moving cart and strapping this thing down with tow straps, and somehow pulling it up the stairs one step at a time. Anyone got a better idea or suggestion on this?

Get a friend and rent an appliance dolly from Uhaul.

We used to call them TriniTONs.

Why is carrying it impossible? Myself and two friends carried my brothers 300Lbs. 60" rear projection TV up 3 flights of stairs.

Just carry it. It's not THAT big or heavy.
