Damn..that's insane!But you would think with all that power...he would at least be running low 10's. He said his best run was 11.11 though, but then got kicked out of the track for not having a parachute. If he had one, he would probably would of ran 10's. I liked the part where he said he was doing like 170 on public streets. That's absolutely crazy...but I bet it was one hell of a rush! eek.gif

 

I think he was doing 11's because he couldn't get good launches. Get that thing in some good grippy slick tires, and after a few practices I'm sure he could get into the bottom end of 10.

 

yea, slicks would improve his 1/4 mile times but never forget that car is a daily driver street car. What is insane is guessing what that car can top-out at. Eventually the wind is the only thing that he would have to fight. eek.gif

 

I know I'd never get quite where he is with his car...but I gotta say, I really like his philosophy. It's where I'm trying to go with my car for the time being. Completely stock sleeper from the outside, with little to nothing giving away what's REALLY under the hood. Aside from the rally hood with it's vents up front, I don't think I'm going to have much other external work done.

....well, 'til I am able to turn my car 100% rally.

 

His attitude towards his car is the ultimate "anti-rice" That is the coolest part of him and his car.

 

Now he needs to do something about that interior. yuck.

 

I bet if he scraped all of that dirt off he'd probably run in the high 9s tongue.gif
