Default Seniors release 10,000 crickets as a senior prank, fined $600 a piece by school

Story

Seven seniors at East Carter High School in Grayson, Kentucky decided to release 10,000 crickets into their school as a senior prank. Unfortuately for them, the school wasn't too happy about it.

The school is fining the students $600 a piece if they want their diploma and they won't get to walk across the stage with their peers. The fine is to pay for exterminators to go through the school and attempt to get rid of all of the crickets.

Their peers are protesting on their behalf to try and get the school to allow them to walk across the stage:

Should the school fine them and stop them from graduating? I think thats going a little too far.

They have to learn that there are consequences for their actions. That's life.

** crickets?? seriously?? These kids aren't very creative are they? We moved an entire play-structure to the front entrance roof of my HS. We also put a fire-hydrant (from a construction site) on the 50 yard line of the football field. Both pranks resulted in heavy equipment being brought in to remove the items  which is hilarious because we moved everything by hand. We were never caught, but fessed up to everything in our grad write-ups. A few teachers figured it out, but it was too late then.

Much of the senior class before mine wasn't allowed to participate in graduation ceremonies, including the class Class President and Secretary, as well as 30 other people.

They released chickens inside the school, planted a tree on the 50 yard line, spray painted the Driver's Ed car and turned it over on its roof, and a few other minor things.
