Default R/C helicopter thread

I have been tempted to buy a couple of R/C helicopters. Theres a kiosk in the local mall that sells all different sizes. Who here flies or collects them? Are they difficult to use or pretty easy?

Go to Amazon. Find a reputable seller. Buy a symaS107g(easier to work on than military looking ones).

You can not legally have more fun for $25.

Cheap kiosk copter suck, they break easily and replacement parts are not to be found.

Got to a local hobby store like Hobby Town Usa or equivelant. They will set you up with a good copter to start with. I would suggest a Micro dual rotor head copter to fly in your living room. There awesome, right around 80 bucks for top dollar ones, and replacement parts are always carried by the shop.

I've had a few. Just got a new pair for Christmas that lets you shoot each other down with infrared. Lazer tag in the air.
