What r your opinions on this product? I know it's from SR, and IMO it's a load of shite, but I was having a look over at the dark side and when I saw this I had to let you guys know about this must have mod. IMO it must add at least 20whp.
Oil cooler

lol.gif I love how its $42.00 for some finned plastic.

01blacktib May 25, 2005 04:47 PM

just fyi, you can get this from like jcwhitney.com or some shyt like that. maybe even apc, and i think it's a lot less. thats like opening a window in your house and leaving the blinds half open to "funnel" the air in. garbage

col96fx May 25, 2005 04:48 PM

I think it would b ally not plastic but anyway, WTF?

Cuda-Turbo May 25, 2005 04:48 PM

Hmmmm interesting idea, not sure how much of a difference that would make in oil temps though. Sort of like a heatsink for your oil filter I guess. Hamhead where you get that it is finned plastic? It says it's aluminum.

biggest load of shit ever.

i atleast expected a real oil cooler, with some kind of core to transfer heat.

but then i see a cpu heatsink...LMFAO.

CRAP

 lol.gif

Shush.... I misread it... tongue.gif Ahh well, aluminum or plastic or titanium, its still crap. wink1.gif

Mad-Machine May 25, 2005 05:06 PM

especially when you consider WHERE the oilfilter is located. It is up out of the airflow and next to the exhaust system. Looks more like an oil heater than a cooler.

Hey, Tiburonmoo said it best....

I like this quote from the SR website.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Shark Racing Website)</div><div class='quotemain'>Please note that we do not keep large quantities in stock as we want our customers to get fresh items. <div align='right'><{POST_SNAPBACK}></div></div>

Uh, yeah. FRESH RICE sure beats STALE RICE. lol.gif

col96fx May 25, 2005 05:24 PM

Yes it's best to get fresh rice, but by the time SR sends it to you it's sure to be stale.
