need a bit of help here.....
 

I have on camcorder my trip to Moroso..once hooked up to my TV via video2, how can i transfer to PC? S-video? but how does winblows handle it? Same as a USB device?

Thanks</div>Hey Fast.Shark - I'll need a bit more info in order to help:

1. Is your camera Digital Video?
2. What specs are your PC? CPU, RAM, HD, etc.

It really does matter. As an example if you plan on working with digital video you need to allow for 100 MB for every minute of video.

In reality the suggestion for buying a Mac is probably impractical, but I'd have to agree when it comes to working with video, nearly all reviewers agree, nothing comes close to iMovie especially that crap Movie Maker that comes with XP. Even Tech TV said it wasn't worth it's (free) price. smile.gif

AMD 450 512 ram...like around 40 gig's. It's a camcorder. not a digital camera. The model number on the camcorder is CCD-TRV16. and the video card is a Voodoo3 3000 (with S-video)

Okay plenty of RAM, CPU is a bit low but that just means it will take a bit longer to process the video. Do you have Win 98 SE or better?

My suggestion is to shop around for a USB --> Video adapter.
Here's a couple of options:

1. Here's one for $53.00 it doesn't come with any software so you'd have to d/l or buy something to edit your video with.

2. This one comes with software I'm just not sure that it's worth it.
