I might make MOAR LOW, first I need to finish the engine, get it smogged, then deal with the bench seat, last thing the interior needs. After all that then some body work and paint. Oh and a windshield, badly needs a windshield.
That engine came out looking great! If you ever need a reman engine or trans I can get em, but either one will likely cost you more than you already have invested in the rest of the truck.
I love the old Toyota trucks. Slam that b*tch down! Or at least do a mild drop with turned down torsion bolts in the front and remove the middle leaf spring or blocks in the back!

Ill look into down the line but it will be used for heavy loads (brake lathes, tire changers ect.) from time to time and low might not be a good thing.
You can do a mild drop then that will cost you only about $20.
For the front, turn down the torsion bolts and that will lower it between 2-3". Just make sure they're even or the front will look crooked.
For the rear, if you dont want to remove the middle lead spring in the pack (drops it about 2"), then you can buy lowering blocks from any auto parts store for $10-20 depending on how low you want to go. You can get them up to 3" I believe. Make sure you get the ones that come with the longer U bolts though. Dont re-use the factory ones.
It wont slam the truck, but it will give it a nice drop and you'll still be able to haul stuff. The factory struts might bottom out if you hit any pot holes or speed bumps but you can always buy new rear struts for minitrucks very cheap (2 for the rear should set you back about $50 total).
