Moved down to florida this weekend for school. I'm in the casselberry area outside of orlando Drive down was fun with the tib, didnt run into any problems. I was wondering if there's any rd clubs down here though? Looking forward to seeing some members.

welcome to florida. if where you live is anything like where i'm at "welcome to the land of newly weds and nearly deads". as far as rd clubs, i know there is a tiburons of florida site, if you haven't came acorss that site yet. i'm not sure if there are any rd's in that club. it seemed like a bunch of gk's (one of which's car made it in hot imort nights in orlando). orlando is supposed to have a pretty nice street racing scene and there is orlando speed world (1/4 mile) too. if that is lame and you ever head toward the tampa area (closer where i'm at, hit me up) there are the gandy and courtney cambell bridges- infamous amoungst local tuners, dumbasses, and cops. either way no emissions testing done here (that i know of) so sell that catalytic converter! enjoy! -steve

lots of rd2's and GK's down there. i hardly see rd1's. it's a lot of fun to drive a tiburon with a good suspension. without it the tiburon feels like a can blowing in the wind. i actually felt really unsafe driving down there next to those freightliners. 02.gif

orlando i think is cool but i was thinking of somewhere closer to the beach. naples for instance. i kind of don't like the tampa area but lots and looooots of hot nice girls. tons of tatoo trailer people on the other hand.

i loved miami except they'd probably rape your tiburon left and right.

well living both in the tampa area now and being a miami native... i would have to say you're right. tampa has an interesting race scene... but central florida is a giant retirement community, so everything else can seem kinda boring next to miami.

and in miami unless you have a very fast turbo tib... ur gonna get raped. (personal experience...lol)

welcome to florida.

haha i meant actually raped, but yeah there are a lot of rich fast corvette punks that'll "sting" you. i love miami but last i hear it's gotten really bad both crime and people.

miamitib, hahaha i just watch the news and most of the crime is more tampa related. when i went to st. pete the money dwellers sort of reminded me of D.C. not that i think tampa is bad, it's awesome especially the clubs! 933FLZ saturdays hellz yeah i'm going to meet some girls there one day.

yea tampa has ybor city... which has some awesome clubs..

miami is not too bad as long as u stay out of places u don't have business in, but in terms of crime... its a big city and has its good places and bad places... luckily my parents live in a good area, but my first mod for my tib was still a 2 way alarm... ahaha.

im going to college in sarasota which is an hour south of the st. pete/tampa area.

im in miami for the summer but on friday i go back to sarasota... which im actually looking forward to. its way to easy to get tired of miami and the BS people here. lol

My dad bought a condo down there near Tampa/Clearwater. Im going to be coming down to stay with him during my vacations..its awesome for your other home to be in Florida lol.

After school is done Im moving down there. I prefer the warmth over the damn snow and cold we get over here.

Im in Jax. I didnt realize for a year ago or so that people had "winter tires". Here just get some supper high end performance tires (I have azenis) and just drive a little slower in the rain.

Yea what Blue said too. It was 100 out today with out the humidity factored in. Hurricanes don't really hit my city much, but we still lose shingles and that's annoying.

Watch out for those Hurricanes in florida tongue.gif

I went to florida, Tindell AFB, for a week and I hated the weather. It was 105 heat index with 70% humidity.

You all have fun with that kind of weather, I'll stick to my 115 dry heat here in Vegas over humidity any day. smile.gif
