Im going to summarize this as much as possible.

I went to Arby's cuz i eat a lot, as i begin to walk toward my car i stop to tie my shoe. When im done and begin to start walking to the car, this lady comes barreling through the parking lot.... straight into my car. The car was the spot closest to the road on the lot so only my car got hit... think about it though, if i didnt stop i would've been inside the car when this happened, so im grateful for my shoe untying? lol well im ok, thats what counts.

The lady was driving on of those monster size pickup trucks, the ones that are like the 18 wheeler type lookin, hope you guys get what i mean.

Anyways, she said brakes failed and she lost control. The car was hit in a t-bone manner in the passenger side, dead on. The whole side is inwards to the point where the door reaches halfway through the seat. yup... totaled car. 02.gif

While i still dont know how much i'll get im hoping for some thing between 3 and 4g's but you never know what will the isurance companies are thinking.

My uncle, being the good man he is, gave me this 96 MX-6 he had.
He's a mechanic so people often pay him with cars, which in turn he'll fix and makes a pretty good profit. The car isnt bad, just needs a clutch change soon.

I'll drive that for now and save up for another tib. I still have a hard time believing everything that just happened though.

i got 6500 out of my 2000 last month after the wreck. so keep your hopes up, and dont settle with what they offer you!

at least you got a nice car to drive till you get a new one. hope that mx6 is a ls (V6 model)

 

Dude, do you think that lady might have been testing out her monster truck capabilities? Did they magically "fix" the brakes?

Hey, a MX-6 isn't a bad deal out of it. Owned one myself. Great little car. Wish I still had mine. Get a new tib or use the ins. to mod up the MX-6. There are a few body kits out there for it.

i would have been ripshit, call me stereotipical but i dont like woman driving big trucks or suv's... and there everywhere!!

even if her brakes "failed" (pathedic excuse) its not like she could have possible lost control in a parkinglot!! she would have to be going like 30 and slamming on the brakes to "lose control". turn the damn wheel and stop screaming b****!! owned.gif
