Hey HA. I know some sh*t has went down between me and you guys. I really wish you guys would have realized that my intentions were good. I made it clear on my website that I am more focused on the car club aspect. Anyone that would have taken the time would have realized that. It says it now on my new site.

But all that aside. Some nasty things were said and my defense staement was deleted. Even though it was polite though stern. Deleting it was not really the right choice. Deleting the thread would have been the better.

Hyundai Motor Club is exactly that, a club. We don't focus on performance, but it is there. What car forum doesn't have a section for performance. But if you will note, my first board below site rules is meets and events. And it has always been that way. As far as the classifieds. Come on guys. How many forums have classified sections and why was it said that I was copying you. If it was exclusive to you guys, there wouldnt be software for my forum program to do it.

To really analyze things, both sides need to realize that this just turned into politics. I'm here to apologize. I have tried to do so on facebook with no response. So I figured a public apology to the entire forum would be acceptable and would be a better route. Regardless, I was never out to compete. And the slander in the thread where my response was dleleted was a little uncalled for. But i understand that I have made comments also that were not acceptable.

I really would like to start over and patch this up. To those of you that mentioned that a space was offered to me here, if you read the entire thread, it was stated that money was already invested.

It would really be the adult thing to get over this whether we have future relations or not. I have always had respect for this forum and have been in the scene just shy of a year after it started. I know you guys are better than the slander that was spoken in the thread the other day. And I apologize completely for making rude comments about this group. It is human nature to attack when attacked. I will say in my defense that the screen shot of what I said was posted, but the screen shot of what was said to me was not presented. But it's done and over and damage is done. But i hope that you guys can come to the level that I know you can and at least accept my apology and offer the same. We both had the wrong things to say, who said more is irrelevant.

Comment was made that I was hacked in that thread. i was. It was expressed to me in a fake facebook account that you guys had something to do with it. But reading it again, it comes across that it is someone with TIES to this website. Not the website its self.

There is a hatred of your forum as well. Which is why I am here. You guys were subject to attempts to take you down. Now the same people are after me. Once again I have no identity to the source. But I have log files and all kinds of stuff to prove that stuff is being attempted already. As I mentioned, it is supposedly the same people that came after you. I have no idea who it was and I have no credible value other than I know that my log files point in the direction that things are shady.

So the entire point to all this is that i want to start this over. Even if we don't work together or get along. I am apologizing and I would appreciate an apology for the thread the other day. We are a car club. Thats it. It was made clear on facebook that you guys promote performance, style and help. I promote the social activity and the scene in general. Which really are the same end goal for both of us. I deleted the thread in facebook because I had bad manners and it was a little rude the way things were framed to me as well. And I didn't reply over and over because no one answered me. I reply multiple times often because a lot of people don't bother clicking read more so ...lol

I hope you guys are willing to be adult about this and at least let the drama wilt away. There is no need for it. Im not here to hurt you and I hope the same from you. I freely allowed HA to post in my group about your contests because it's about the community for me. There never was any competition for me in my eyes because that wasn't my intention.

So I will leave it up to you guys at this point. Hopefully i will get the response I am hoping for. We don't have to work together if you don't want to, but we can still get along.

The opposite also applies



We like to be inclusive here, except when people are trying to divert our members to what is perceived as a duplicative site. Pretty much anyone who can recognize and abide by that is welcome here

I didn't have any problems with duplicate ads for photo contests from HA in my facebook group, but that's because I worry about the community before myself.

 

aaaaand there you go. You might not have even noticed it, but you just put this place down AGAIN.

 

This is beating a dead horse. HA is one of the top Hyundai sites in the world, the #1 non model specific site, and the #1 oldest Hyundai site in existence. The members here are EXTREMELY passionate about the site and they will fight to the bone for it. We have seen it happen many many times over the years. Alot of members feel you are going about things all wrong, not just our members but other forum members also. I hate to say it, but you're on the losing end here and I think the damage is already done in terms of what you did, said, and how there was an attempt to take members from here.



Anyway, I see this thread getting bad and turning into a flamefest again like the other thread turned into. Im on my phone now and cant lock the topic but a Mod may want to do it before it gets crazy with members coming in and really going off on silvershark....

 

We can coexist. We have different purposes, fine. Your apology is accepted and you're right, we should all move on. No reason to keep discussing it. Everything is good. Do what you do and don't get easily offended on the internet. We're all here for the benefit of the community. You do your club, we'll do our site. S'all good.
