Guys i'm looking for an induction kit, and want to put my filter in the space below the battery tray tucked into that corner.
Seen this kit on ebay u.k. item number 190019456050.

Do you think this would be o.k.

INduction kit?

Are you talking about a Cold Air Intake?

If so, the AEM or AEM Clones are the best to get. You suck in COLD air from outside the engine compartment.

We call them induction kits over here, but yes that is what i'm talking about.

This AEM you mentioned, is it an air ram type of system with a intake pipe that fits to the inside of the bumper like where a fog light may have been then sucks all the air up to the filter.

REDZMAN 08-12-2006 02:47 PM

Sort of. The filter is on the end of the pipe and yes, where the foglight goes.

why not just get a CAI (cold air intake) in the first place and avoid beating around the bush?

with that induction kit on ebay:
- you are not really getting the colder air (intake stays in the engine bay still)
- it is not guaranteed to fit your car... you might have to do more to make it to

I know what you mean, iv'e seen on some cars over here where they have a pipe fitted from the bumper up to the filter and on that end of the pipe there is a container which surrounds the filter forcing the cold air into it.
Thanks for your advice.
