And every single news station had something on about how alien space ships are in our atmosphere, what would you’re first thought be? Granted, lets say there were 2 scenarios. First one being they were not here to hurt us…just learn from us and be peaceful. The second scenario being they had intentions to kill, probe, enslave us. And since they have flying space ships that can travel through the universe, they obviously would have much more better technology and probably weapons than us. Then what?

 

Friendly:

I would be very excited, I would assume that human history would be referenced in the future as dated before or after contact.



Unfriendly:

I would get away from population centers with a couple guns and a lot of ammo. Won't do a lot of good, I would focus mostly on trying to hide. Crappy existence, but rather try that than a frontal assault. Unless we were putting up a decent fight, in which case I would join the fight.
