Default How many millionaires do you know personally?

Just as the title states..

I have found that as I get older and move my way up in the business world I am starting to mingle with more and more wealthy people.. I have found that for the most part the stigma about wealthy people being a**holes is generally not the case.. of course I do know some cocky ass people who love to flaunt their wealth but I do know a great deal more who are just regular average people who just so happen to have a high net worth, but are still down to earth..

and just to be clear..

hm... know "personally" probably 1 or 2, but professionally, I work with a few.

My boss' boss, the person my department reports to directly, is a Billionaire. Working for him over the last 4 years, his family (brother, brother-in-law, mother all own the company) is very dedicated to charitable organizations, and very down to earth and reasonable. VERY likable people and take time to know/mingle with us peons. It's family money through the family owned business.

The self-made millionaires I know are maybe slightly more cocky, like they're going to lose everything they have and always have their guard up. Maybe it's that aggressiveness that got them to where they are. They're very nice people, just different. Who knows, maybe it's just their personality and they'd be that way if they had a net worth of $5,000.

I have learned never associate with people below your class. These people will cheat, steal, rob, sue, and disgrace your family even though you have limitlessly cared and supported them.

Hahaha... Maybe that cockiness comes from being fed up with getting taken advantage of all the time! The millionaires I know are SO stingy but they're also old and wise.

BTW I don't consider dedicated or helpless people cheats, but lazy people or people with little knowledge for sure. Maybe their understanding of the world around them are what makes them cocky.
