Im very happy its back, although I too didnt miss it too much for some reason.

Sorry to anyone living there, but they might not even have an arena this year! No doubt Sidney Crosby will be their ticket to getting one.

Anyway, enough ranting. As you can see I'm pretty stoked about hockey coming back. I know it was a bum deal, but now I miss it. I've been watching some of the Old Rock 'em Sock 'em tapes. GODDAMN those vids get you hopped up.

can't wait, however I hate to see what this new CBA is going to do to the teams. GO Redwings! Crosby ain't so hot, when I was 14 I was playing for the adult league and I was the 3rd highest goal scorer in that league and 2 years in a row MVP for my age rank team. I scored 30 goals in 14 games. Damn south I could have been a prodigy.

That's a little bit better hockey then your Adult Recreational League. Trust me. Half the guys that play there are borderline Pro, they just aren't making the big money yet, and might not ever make it.

Word to the wise too though, if you have to tell people how good you were/are. You aren't that good.
