Ouch, that's gotta bite.
Interesting that it was near Rice Ave - reminds me of the ricer racers...
Drive carefully and don't screw around at those speeds!

Thats so horrible..I bet that girl feels like sh-t too for doing that..who the hell just pumps their brakes while driving like that? and how can you just leave the scene of the accident?
Then again, if the guy didnt street race all this would have never happened. RIP

What is it with America and people driving too close?
In the UK you would lose your license for that, instantly, and any speed.
It's tragic to hear something like this but that one instant of stupidity can cost you... everything 02.gif
My cousin rode his ninja to belgium once (UK to dover, ferry to france and then open it up...) and they were riding at around 120, tailing, overtaking and generally being stupid.
Same thing happened, his friend lost his bottle and went on the brakes to slow down and because it was coming into dusk and that orangey haze was around my cousin didnt see his brakelight.. hit his brakes too hard and came off.. lost a kneecap and couldnt walk for about 4 months.
What did he do the day he was cleared from physio therapy? put a new front end on the bike and started riding it again.
6 months ago he was banned for doing 150 and not realising he had a volvo T5 behind him with yellow stripes.

I was overjoyed to hear of his ban.. maybe it'll save him from himself..
