didn't know that. guess i will have to be more cautious when i go to canada a.
|
Thats a pretty neat little fact! Nice to know i have an alarm for something!
|
Yeah that was the 2001-2002 years though (Yes I know there was no tib in 02 but there were still cars)
I don't remember seeing or hearing about any being stolen. I heard it's because of the cheap ignition's Hyundai used. dunno.gif I think it's just cause any RD is sooo sexy that they just have to have it. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (lehman33)</div><div class='quotemain'>guess i will have to be more cautious when i go to canada a.</div> It's eh.....okay. tongue.gif |
alrighty then eh. yeah i could use a car alarm.
|
That is pretty interesting...I'll have to remember to catch a ride from friends when I go up to Canada from now on!
|
Is that number 756 out of 10,000 or what, thats not that suprising about the looks who wouldnt want it but I wold think not enough people would be that knowledgeable abut stealing tibs :o

<div align='right'><{POST_SNAPBACK}></div></div> <span style="color:red">lol! wow remind me never to go to canada in my tib. i had my alarm installed pretty soon after i bought it. then again, i'm really paranoid with my tib. ninja.gif </span> |
Still, at least there's hundreds of other cars that thieves prefer to Tibs.
Everyone needs a car alarm. Especially when you can get a basic one installed for $99 that will pay for itself in insurance savings. Although a lot of the cheap installs are exactly that. A bigger problem where I live is vandalism and smash and grabs, something I'm much more concerned about than vehicle theft. A flashing LED might make them move onto another car, even if it's not a real alarm. Worth the few bucks IMO. |
