One of my friends parakeets just killed the other one in the cage. We re-named him "OJ"...the dead one was Nicole.

 

here are the pics that i got of him....i didn't use the flash and it was dark. he doesn't look as pretty here as he really is bc the colors didn't show up too well. but here he is anyway:

my wife used to have parakeets. they have to get used to the new environment then to you before the open up. same thing will happen to an extent if you move their cage. usually they are pretty quiet for a day then.
