same with askjeaves

but you cant look at there profile

why is that?

That's when the search engines are going through the site.

there's some info here - http://www.google.com/bot.html

it's google's spyder or bot viewing the site and updating cache of the site, search engine info, site ranking, all kinds of cool stuff. laugh.gif

remember googlebot is your friend! if google has you in their directory many other sites will follow suite.

Sometimes Archive.org will do the same thing.

I've also seen AskJeeves as a member crawling my site once lol
