Ok i ended up finding this thread HERE

And noticed the link to the petition page. I couldnt find a previous thread on this so i figured id make one

EVEN if you dont own a turbo hyundai, want a turbo hyundai, or even know what a turbo does, you should go to this site and sign the petition.

All you have to do is list your name and email, and if you want say why you want to see a turbo hyundai

You can even choose to keep your email private if you wish.

So go to GIVE US A TURBO, HYUNDAI! and sign

I saw some familiar signatures like REDZ and i know this is as old as dirt but i doubt it could hurt right????

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bottom line is the people at hyundai need a kick in the arse, they finally have the reputation, the looks, and they the nice developments in the luxury section of its cars...

BUT they just cant seem to bring themselves to do the obvious thing and offer the beta engine with a turbocharged option.

Most people here know the potential of the turbo beta but if we can add a few hundred signatures to this list maybe we can help get hyundais attention.

Imagine a 2008 tib being AWD 300hp turbo beast. [/dream]

If not at least we can say we tried...

If BMW can give us a turbocharged car (the new 335i) then Hyundai can. I know some of you will say that BMW can do it because they are known for producing performance oriented cars.. but BMW has been adament for the last 20 years that turbocharging was not the way they were going to give us that performance.. and now they do a complete 180 degree turn on their stance.

However, you will probably see a turbocharged Kia first as Hyundai wants to concentrate on "luxury" and make Kia the "sporty" marque
