Trayvon Martin gun to be auctioned by George Zimmerman

"A gun used to shoot dead unarmed Florida teenager Trayvon Martin is to be auctioned by the man who shot him, George Zimmerman.



Mr Zimmerman, a neighbourhood watchman, was cleared over the death of the 17-year-old in February 2012 after saying he acted in self-defence.



He said he was selling the gun partly to raise funds to fight "Hillary Clinton's anti-firearm rhetoric".



The Martin family would not "comment on the actions of that person", they said."





There's a lot of collectors out there of weird stuff like this and stuff used by killers. So I bet it sells fast and at a large price.

 

Anything to stay relevant it seems.



I did support the guy, but all of his actions after the fact show just how shallow and desperate for attention he is.

 

Nope. Old news from 4 days ago. Since then, two auction houses have refused to have anything to do with it.

 

Make no mistake, he's going to persist. He's going to do some kind of outlandish BS every 6 months until he finally breaks the law and is arrested or gets himself killed trying to play hero.
