I was on ebay and i just noticed this little handy dandy gas ionizer...
The pricipal behind it is that it runs your gas through 5 magnets... Um... yeah, click here

I couldn't stop laughing about this thing.

Look, it says it uses "Higest Power Neodyymium Rare Earth Magnets". I love that. They might have well write "This is a huge scam please let us take your money".

Got to love it and I bet theres been a hand full of people that have bought it tongue.gif

I had those on my Opel

there were 2 magnets : 1 on air tube before TB and 1 on fuel line before injector rail.

to be honest I didn't see ay difference.

Myth Busters did a test on these.... No help. If Myth Busters says it does not work, it must be true wink1.gif

I have to get these after my supercharger air filter and my exhaust mesh grill comes in..... who thinks of these things...

DTN Jun 21, 2006 09:50 AM

i can tell you for sure this won't work... even if you magnetize the fuel, it's liquid. It will go back to the way it was right after you magnetized it.

and you need to actually pump ions in order to ionize something. You can't ionize anything with a magnet.

Dmitry Jun 21, 2006 10:34 AM

^ Maybe they wanted to say magnetised instead of ionised?

cause you can't ionize something with a magnet
