Which do you enjoy modding more?
Your house or your car? Some people love working around their house and making it nicer while others hate doing it (my boss for an example who pays people to do stuff around his house). I think both can be very therapeutic but modding a house will actually help you earn money in the long run where as modding a car will make you lose it.

Anything there is to mod shall be.
The difference being home mods actually build value. I bought this house for 140k four years ago and today it's worth more than 260k. Once the driveway is fixed and the drainage issue around the property are sorted, plus the deck and other things planned for this summer it's going to break the 300k mark more than doubling my investment in less than 5 years.
I bought my Tib in 2007 for $5k and today it's worth about 16¢ despite the thousands I have invested. That's just the reality with cars. It does not take away from the enjoyment factor though. I enjoy doing the work as much as the results.
