Hardly anyone bought from there anyways. Always overpriced.

Most gun enthusiasts buy those kind of rifles online now.

They had to stop selling them to save face because they are the ones that sold the gun to the criminal. Not that is was their fault, but they felt they had to do something to look like they're "doing something". Read their letter. IT doesn't mean any other store will follow.

After reading that letter, the one thing that stands out to me is them not wanting to sell to anyone under 21yo and restricting their 2nd amendment to a certain class of citizens. Not just "assault rifles" aka sport rifles, but ANY gun. I'll also exercise my right to not shop there anymore.

I'm gonna watch to see if this is the nail in the coffin. They've been going downhill for over a year now.

Like I said, the argument about not allowing an ADULT (18-20yo) to buy a gun of any kind is just ridiculous. "Come and join the US Army and we'll give you a REAL assault weapon and train you to drive tanks. Oh, you want a pistol to protect your home from burglers? Sorry, you're not old enough!"

The whole concept is preposterous anyway: We'll make it more difficult for you to do your paperwork, and that will definitely keep you from murdering somebody! Ooookay then.
