Last week I heard what appeared to sound like a 'burping' noise coming from the engine. When I examined under the hood, it was coming from the exhaust manifold area. Still in the engine bay, I reached over to throttle and gave it a little gas. When the rpms started coming down...the noise got louder. So Monday I took it to the dealer and found out that the manifold had a crack in it. It was almost $500 for parts and labor. So now she's back to normal...even running smoother...(unless its in my head smile.gif ) and best of all my extended warranty covered it. Had it not been covered by the warranty I was ready to get some SR Headers. Oh well...I'll get them a little later.

 

My exhaust manifold cracked after only 30,000 miles. Hyundai doesn't put a much quality into those suckers...

 

BTW...that would be considered an "emissions" warranty which is 7 years or 70,000 miles. They HAD to cover it unless you were over 70,000 miles.
