I received an early Christmas present today. (turns out sounddomain.com is in Seattle so shipping only took a day) My mom bought me a new shift knob. But not just any shift knob... an LED shift knob!! I usually don't like them, but check this one out!
It has 4 settings (chase, flash, on, off) and the carbon fiber thing on the top is actually a button. The lights are very bright and really add to the interior of my car! Plus it is heavier than the stock one so shifter is more fluid!

 

how does it fit? is there any kind of gap? does it fit securely on the shifter?

 

It has a weird way of installing. It doesn't screw in, but a plastic sleeve is put inside the shifter and then three small screws have to be tightened from the sides to hold it in place. There was a small gap between the knob and boot. I had a plastic washer that was about 1/4 inch thick so I put in in there and now it sits perfect. It is on fairly tight, but with some twisting I can get it off.

i also got a $50 gift certificate to pep boys so i got the braided hose dress up kit for my engine, in red of course, along with some gojo hand cleaner and shop rags.

 

That is how my Momo knob fits.. so it is not that odd...

 

My boyfriend got me the black altezza tailights (the ones on ebay) and I got him a playstation 2. laugh.gif
