Verizon has been charging outrageous fees, and dont offer any reasonable explanations so Im thinking of dropping them.

I love their reception (bars everywhere), but lately it's been ridiculous. Without going over minutes and such, bills are over $200 monthly.

Ive posted a poll..Im wondering what phone company you guys recommend that offers good reception, good customer service, and no weird charges.

Thanks.

cingular/at&t would be the next best reception wise.

i've been w/ Cingular for 6 years and i'm very satisfied with their service. both reception AND customer service. I'm not the biggest fan of the name change, but oh well. It's still the same.

when i was upgrading my phone, i was thinking of switching to Helio, but Cingular give me a good deal on the phone so I stuck with them.

Go Cingular/AT&T!!

I'm with Sprint and have been for years and I like them overall. The only spot I dont get good signal is at my home but it is a dead spot for every cell phone provider(sprint, att/cingular, verizon). I've heard my friends are pretty happy with att/cingular though.

sprint sucks for dropping calls. I got so pissed off at my phone I chucked it from the 3rd floor of my apartment building and it landed across the street (very uncharastic of me). The next day I canceled service and got Alltel. It cuts out alot more the sprint did, but I've probly lost 2 calls in the last year. Plus they automatically credit your account for dropped calls.

it depends on where you live. Verizon and Sprint get the best signal in my area... Cingular/AT&T come in next.

I like Sprint because of their costs, and because my wife gets 20% discount on monthly costs.

Unlimited Web for $15/mo. and the Treo 755 is friggin' amazing

Is there any provider that we can keep our present verizon spec phones?

royal-city-shark Jul 12, 2007 10:01 PM

i use rogers dunno if theres a rogers in the states, but 20 bucks a month unlimited evenings and weekends and up to 1000 texts a month free then 15 cents a text after the 1000

(cingular or AT&T) sucks.
I get poor signal or no signal at all when i go into a lot of buildings in my area which is Northern V.A and D.C. area.

i use nextel and love it. but the largest network in the world now is AT&T so if you want the best reception i would think thats the best option
